I’ve been looking at a few forums lately, because many of my readers are looking for some good forums sights for Parkinson’s. I plan on creating a forums section for my site, here by until then there are a few forums I recommend. A few weeks ago I wrote about We Move’s forum. They have a great community that is thriving, it could be a great place to meet new people.
Today I visited the National Parkinson Foundation forum and was impressed with a couple of things. The first thing was the availability to ask a doctor or surgical team specific questions about Parkinson’s disease. I think that it’s amazing that such resources are now at our fingertips, years ago this was pretty much unheard of… I mean they may have a hot line or phone line that was used for these but I’m sure it was difficult to get through and receive a professional opinion in almost no time. I hope that you’ll use this resource. Please let me know if you have any questions about these forums.
The next forum I plan to evaluate is Neurotalk, you can expect that past to come out in a couple of weeks. Like I said earlier, I’ll be launching a forums for My Parkinson’s Disease soon, but until then these are great sources to go to.
