Swimming the English Channel has been compared to climbing Mt. Everest. Colin Bycroft of Frog Hall, will be part of a four-man team raising funds for the Parkinson’s Disease Society and Cancer Research UK when he attempts hour-long swims in the long 21-mile swim.
Colin has just turned 50 years old and says he is a little nervous for the swim. In a recent article he stated that he wants to raise money for Parkinson’s because his father had died of the condition and for Cancer Research because four of his friends bad been diagnosed with the condition just last year.
